A Description of Our Service
AutoDealerNetwork.TV is partnered with PeopleTV/Meredith Corporation to provide a live internet-delivered television service that provides auto dealerships with television programming from the #1 celebrity news entertainment source in the country. Meredith is best known for being on the pulse of pop culture, entertainment, food, fashion and lifestyle. This entertainment network is specifically designed to entertain dealership customers and guests as well as inform them about the dealership’s products and services.
In addition to PeopleTV AutoDealerNetworkTV will offer programming from several other Meredith entertainment properties including Better Homes & Gardens, Entertainment Weekly, Travel & Leisure, InStyle, Coastal Living, Food & Wine and Shape, just to name a few.
AutoDealerNetwork.TV broadcasts seven days a week, with 24/7 technical and editorial staffing.
Programming is suitable for a public viewing audience and has no graphic or explicit content.
What is the monthly fee for your service?
Monthly fee for a single box is $399.00 + applicable taxes.
Is there a contract?
There is no contract.
Can I use ADN on multiple TVs?
Multiple TVs that are in close proximity to one another can utilize this service with a single box with proper networking at your dealership without any additional charges.
If additional equipment is necessary due to your facility networking restraints, this additional equipment will be charged at $200 per month plus the initial $350 cost of the set up. Two ADN boxes would bill at $599 per month and each box would cost $350 up front for a total of $700.
Can I have multiple zones…in other words can I have sales related videos showing on a showroom lounge TV and service related videos running on a TV in my service lounge?
Yes. This would require 2 boxes and the only videos that would be distinct would be the videos that you would add for your specific dealership. For clarity, all the factory provided videos would run on both TVs. This means that sales and service related video from your franshise(s) would be seen on both showroom and service TV. But your specific sales related videos can be set up to run on just your showroom TV and videos that you would like to be seen on just your service department TV will only be seen on that TV. The 2 different boxes allows you to set up 2 different “zones”.
Is this a live TV channel/station or is it just a loop of entertainment content?
ADN is a live streaming broadcast. This is not a loop or a recording.
Do you require a cable TV connection or an internet connection?
We require an Internet connection.
How much bandwidth will your equipment take to operate?
The equipment will draw approximately 5Mbps. This is similar to Roku Box requirements or YouTube videos.
Can we add our own commercials and videos to our TVs with ADN?
Your dealerships specific commercials can be easily added at no additional charge.
Does ADN manage the addition and deletion of auto franchise videos and commercials?
ADN will manage the addition and deletion of factory commercials from your TVs. We keep as many current and relevant videos in our system for playback on your TV(s) as possible. Some franchises have over 100 videos playing in our system.
How does the signal get from your equipment to my TV?
ADN equipment will use one of the HDMI ports on your TV.
Does your service come with a new TV for my dealership? Do you guys run all the cabling and networking
ADN does not provide TVs, networking or run data lines to your TVs. All dealerships have a relationship with a company or person that is familiar with their stores networking. It is our position that they are the best people for you to source with this task.
Tell me about the size equipment that you will be providing.
The equipment is approximately 4”x4”x1”. This box will fit easily behind your TV (in a single TV application). This BOX is generally mounted to the wall with double sided tape or screws. In a networked configuration with multiple TVs the box is typically located in the computer/networking room or someplace centrally located between the TVs, like a closet.
Do I have to keep my regular cable or satellite TV provider?
You can cancel your service with your current provider. ADN is completely independent from other TV programming providers. It is our recommendation that you do cancel any other service to ensure that guests, employees, cleaning crews, customers, etc. etc. are unable to alter the TV(s) channel. It is also easier to explain that the TV channel can not be changed to… let’s say soap operas for example, because you do not have cable or satellite TV.
Do I need to worry about changing the channel with ADN? Can the channel be changed with ADN?
ADN is a single channel solution. You will be unable to change channels. The entertainment content will be changed via PeopleTV programming and control facilities.
Can we still watch sporting events like football games with ADN?
You can still switch over to other events like sports shows if you keep your current TV service. You would just change the input (or source it’s sometimes called) from the HDMI port that ADN is using over to the HDMI port that you have cable or satellite plugged into. So it would be changing from HDMI-1 to HDMI-2 for example.
How long will it take you to get my store set up if I decide to move forward and use your ADN service?
It generally takes 1 to 2 weeks to get equipment to your store. Once we have received payment for the set-up, equipment and first month service fee we will program and ship the equipment.
